Juni 1990 fand auf dem Gelände des Knebworth House ein Benefiz-Konzert der Extraklasse statt, um Spenden für die Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy und der Brit School For Performing Arts aufzutreiben. Bis heute gilt dieses Event als das beste Britische Rock Konzert aller Zeiten. Das atemberaubende Line-Up formierte sich nur aus mit dem Prestige-trächtigen Silver Clef Award augezeichneten Künstlern der Britischen Musik Industrie. Auftritte von Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Status Quo, Genesis mit Phil Collins, Robert Plant, Cliff Richard zusammen mit den legendären Shadows, Dire Straits und Tears For Fears.
